Falcon Brae is an exciting new development complimenting Stonefly Lodge, near Nelson and Abel Tasman in the South Island. It provides the option of an exclusive-use luxurious Villa for groups of up to nine guests (six adults & up to three children) with access to three individual suites and an additional bunk bedroom.

Falcon Brae is perfect for multi-generational families or those seeking total privacy. Falcon Brae Villa is perched on a hilltop high above Stonefly Lodge, with spectacular 360-degree views over the surrounding mountains and the Motueka River below. The villa is 720 m2 in size, located on 350 acres of property surrounded on two sides by rivers, including a private forest and spectacular native bush walks.

The architecturally designed contemporary residence features a large central lounge area with a 5-metre ceiling, sunken bar, grand piano, media room, kitchen, three dining areas and a stunning collection of New Zealand and local art. Directly in front of the Helipad Terrace, guests can relax in the “Games Den” housing modern gym equipment, pool table, table tennis, darts and a games table. The large deck space overlooks the mountains and river, featuring a pool & outdoor heated spa, barbeque area for outdoor dining and entertaining with a shaded pergola.

The two master suites, ranging in size from 124 to 135 m2, and a junior suite of 57 m2, are finished to the highest of standard. All have a private deck space, full cocktail bar, coffee & tea making facilities, luxurious bathrooms, heated towel rails, a spa tub, spectacular fireplace, high quality TV and audio system.

For the larger family, a bunk room with ensuite is also available for up to three children. As with Stonefly Lodge, Falcon Brae Villa is entirely off the “grid” with solar panels and batteries providing all the power required, without sacrificing any luxuries
