Stylish Glamping with Valley Views

Located mid-way between Christchurch & Queenstown is this unique glamping site with enchanting views across the Waitaki Valley. With a total of 5 geodesic domes and cabins sleeping up to a maximum of 2-3 guests. With a seven-hectare forest as your backdrop, on the foothills of Mount Domett, Valley Views Glamping offers you an off the grid experience.

The Experience

Each of the domes are fitted with comfortable super-king sized beds, luxury down duvets and beautifully designed large bay windows which enable you to enjoy the night sky from the comfort of inside your own dome.

Solar energy powers the purpose-built main lodge which has kitchen, dining and bathroom facilities. Immediately outside the lodge are two outdoor dining areas and a communal fire-pit. One of the highlights of the lodge is the pot-belly fire which provides a wonderful ambience. For a completely amazing experience there are four outdoor baths, out in the forest where you can relax in hot water and gaze at our extraordinary night sky. The site is designed thoughtfully with a focus on ongoing sustainable practices.

Eating & Drinking

Breakfast is included in your daily rate. For an evening meal, you can choose to bring your own provisions or for a small fee order a 3 course sumptuous home cooked meal.

Getting off the grid, it’s a great time to switch off your phone and completely disconnect. Sit back, relax and soak up your quiet and stunning surroundings. For those who are looking for something more active, there are many activities to enjoy with the vicinity of the glampsite – from walking tracks; horse riding lessons; fly fishing on the Hakataramea River fishing or even perhaps a jet boat ride up the Waitaki River.
